Going to cache at the DAO only. Memcache support and tested out the box, but Doctrine has hooks to several caching mechanisms.
Need to put that list on the wiki.
We need to ship with caching turned on, but something easier to install than memcache. memcache is more for production as it requires more setup than developers would probably want to do.
